Drunk driver crashes into group of motorcyclists

There are a couple of aspects to this story that need to be highlighted, with the first and most obvious being the intoxication of the reckless driver. Driving under the influence is an affront to public safety and a laughably negligent behavior that can’t and shouldn’t be tolerated, ever. If a drunk driver is involved in an accident, then the victims of that accident must consider legal action to hold the negligent person accountable and to potentially help with their medical bills and costs associated with the wreck.

The other element here is the group of motorcyclists. Motorcyclists are in a risky place out on the road simply by the nature of the vehicle itself. Motorcycles are smaller and offer almost no protection to the rider (or riders) whatsoever. If other drivers fail to locate or look out for motorcycles out on the road, and they cause an accident, then the victims could, again, seek justice in the form of a civil lawsuit.
