Snowplow falls off highway after run-in with semi-truck
There are a lot of aspects to the video that you can dissect, but we want to focus on just a few. The first is that it appears that in this particular case, the snowplow is at fault. Trying to pass a truck, especially during a snowstorm, is a bad idea. Passing on a curving part of the road is an even worse idea.
Having said that, though, there are many examples of semi-trucks passing illegally or being at fault for a driving move that is just as dangerous as the one exemplified in this snowplow story. Truck drivers may speed; or turn illegally; or drive erratically; or improperly load cargo into their vehicle, making the truck unbalanced. These are just a few of the many ways that a truck driver or trucking company can be at fault for an accident.
Those who are affected by a truck accident often deal with serious injuries or consequences. Trucks are not small, powerless vehicles. They are the exact opposite. And as such, they are likely to inflict heavy damage on other vehicles and people when they are involved in a wreck. The victims of a truck crash should consult with an experienced personal injury attorney immediately.
